Victory in Louisiana!

Congratulations are in order for all hosts and guests in Louisiana! Together, we achieved legislative victory in the Pelican State. On June 11, 2020, Governor John Bel Edwards signed our preferred regulatory framework into law. This law clearly defines peer-to-peer car sharing as a unique and separate industry from traditional rental car and puts into place sensible insurance provisions tailored to our business.

Thanks to our champion Representative Edmond Jordan, our community in Louisiana can rest easy knowing that they are protected and properly represented under the law. With your support in advocating for this bill, you made your voices heard in Baton Rouge. This victory is a testament to our community and a further symbol of the value of peer-to-peer car sharing.
