Turo partners with Milwaukee County to expand booking options for travelers at MKE

Turo, the world's leading peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace, today announced that starting June 1, 2022, guests will have designated areas to receive their car reservations at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE), allowing for expedited and easy access to their drive upon arrival.

As the summer travel season ramps up, trusted Turo hosts are currently offering hundreds of unique options for guests looking to pick up a vehicle after a flight into MKE. The partnership between Milwaukee County and Turo means newly designated parking, pickup, and drop-off locations at MKE for Turo hosts and guests.

“We are thrilled that Milwaukee County officials have taken this unprecedented and innovative step in recognizing the many benefits of peer-to-peer car sharing, including meeting consumer demand in Milwaukee,” said Turo CEO Andre Haddad. “Peer-to-peer car sharing not only provides travelers with more options for booking a car, but also gives Wisconsinites the opportunity to turn their own vehicle into an earnings engine.”

Turo pickups and returns that occur at MKE are designated to the following property locations:

● Parking structure (garage)

● Surface Lot - Preferred for hand-to-hand exchange.

● Saver Lot A

● Saver Lot B North

● Saver Lot B South

● AMTRAK Station Lot

Turo has grown over the past 10 years to become the world’s leading car sharing marketplace, spanning over 8,000 cities, with over 2 million active guests and 217,000 active vehicles on the platform as of March 31, 2022.
