Make your voice heard in South Carolina

Next year, Turo will be supporting a bill in South Carolina that would create a sensible regulatory framework for peer-to-peer car sharing. Cementing peer-to-peer car sharing rules in state law would help ensure that guests can access reliable transportation when and where they need it, while guaranteeing hosts can continue to build thriving businesses on Turo.

Your voice can help keep Turo accessible for all

We’re doing everything we can to work with South Carolina lawmakers on this issue, but we need you, our Turo community, to help share why Turo is an important resource for you and your community. Real stories from people like you have been crucial in our efforts to advance sensible peer-to-peer car sharing policy in states across the country.

We’ve made it simple to contact your representatives with a few clicks. Once you’ve taken action, please consider following the prompts to record a short video that we can share with lawmakers in Columbia. We will update the email with the bill number once it is shared.

Thanks for being a part of the Turo community and advocating for peer-to-peer car sharing!
