Share your support for Turo with San Diego International Airport officials
Turo has been in active discussions with airport officials in San Diego, working to establish a partnership with the San Diego International Airport (SAN) regarding permitting for the Turo community.
We’re doing everything in our power to secure permits on behalf of our community, but so far officials at SAN have failed to provide a permit structure that appropriately treats hosts as separate and distinct from traditional rental car companies.
Without a permit, San Diegans could miss out on meaningful income generated by trips at the airport while the city of San Diego misses out on an important potential stream of revenue.
Make your voice heard
We need you, our Turo community, to voice why sharing your cars is important to you and how limiting access to the airport impacts San Diegans’ ability to earn income.
We’ve made it simple to contact the San Diego Airport Authority with a few clicks. Once you’ve taken action, please consider following the prompts to record a short video that we can share with members of the board.
Thanks for being a part of the Turo community and advocating for peer-to-peer car sharing!
